چکیده
The yield criterion, or so-called function, plays an important role in the study of plastic working a sheet because it governs deformation properties during plastic-forming process. In this paper, we propose novel anisotropic function useful for describing behavior various sheets. proposed includes version second stress invariant J2 and third J3. can explain sheets by introducing parameters α β also exhibits both symmetrical asymmetrical surfaces. included model were determined with optimization algorithm from uniaxial biaxial experimental data under proportional loading path. study, validity was verified comparing surface shape, normalized value, Lankford coefficient R-value derived results. Applications functions to aluminum showed yielding and, pure titanium sheets, asymmetric behavior; thus, shown that curve types materials be predicted reasonably using new function.

Prediction of Instability in Planar Anisotropic Sheet Metal Forming Processes
In this paper instability of planar anisotropic sheet metal during a few forming processes is investigated for the first time. For this reason components of the constitutive tangent tensor for planar anisotropic sheets are developed. By using the above tensor location of necking is predicted. Direction of the shear band is also predicted using the acoustic tensor. A finite element program is pr...
متن کاملCrack Tip Constraint for Anisotropic Sheet Metal Plate Subjected to Mode-I Fracture
On the ground of manufacturing, sheet metal parts play a key role as they cover about half of the production processes. Sheet metals are commonly obtained from rolling and forming processes which causes misalignment of micro structure resulting obvious anisotropic characteristics and micro cracks. Presence of micro cracks poses serious attention, when stresses at the tip reach to the critical v...
متن کاملThe concept of virtual material testing and its application to sheet metal forming simulations
A crystal plasticity based full-field microstructure simulation approach is used to virtually determine mechanical properties of sheet metals. Microstructural features like the specific grain morphology and the crystallographic texture are taken into account to predict the plastic anisotropy. A special focus is on the determination of the Lankford coefficients and on the yield surface under pla...
متن کاملInelastic Constitutive Relations for Solids : an Internal-variable Theory and Its Application to Metal Plasticity
THIS PAPER is a study of the theoretical foundations of constitutive relations at finite strain for a class of solids exhibiting inelasticity as a consequence of specific structural rearrangements, on the microscale, of constituent elements of material. Metals deforming plastically through dislocation motion are of this class and form the primary application of the theory. The development is in...
